Pool Lifeguard

PREREQUISITES
Candidates are required to supply a copy of their current HLTAID003 Provide first aid qualification 48 hours from enrolment. The HLTAID003 Provide first aid qualification is a prerequisite to the Pool Lifeguard Course. Candidates who hold a HLTAID011 - Provide first aid qualification are able to use this as evidence for partial RPL, with the remainder of assessment evidence covered during the Pool Lifeguard course.

AGE REQUIREMENT:
Participants wishing to complete this training are to be 16 years of age or turning 16 in the calendar within which the course is to be held to participate in this course.

USI REQUIREMENT:
To enrol in this course Candidates must possess a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Click here to visit the USI site and register this with your Royal Life Saving Office.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT:
You have read and accept the terms and conditions outlined in the RLSSA Code of Practice and Privacy Notice.
You agree to participate in a verbal Health Assessment and Temperature check on arrival at your course.

PRE-COURSE LEARNING:
Candidates are required to complete and bring their Pool Lifeguard Pre-Course Workbook and Lifeguarding Manual to the course. The workbook will be marked on course by the Trainer.
Resources will be issued within 48 hours of enrolment.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
Royal Life Saving Society NSW is not a CRICOS provider; it is unable to provide national training to overseas students holding a student visa.
